Funeral services for Margaret Marie Day, 80, of Glen, MS are for Thursday, March 6, 2025 at 2 pm at Magnolia Funeral Home - EAST with interment in Dogwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 12pm-2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home - EAST. Rev. Jerry Blankenship and Rev. Tommy Callahan will officiate the service with Matthew Whittemore delivering comments. Born April 30, 1944 in Corinth, MS., Mrs. Day passed from this life on Sunday, March 2, 2025 at Magnolia Regional Health Care. She was a member of Eastview United Pentecostal Church. Margaret retired from Magnolia Regional Health Care as a Supervisor. She loved her family and friends and spending time with them especially her grandchildren. Taking care of her loved ones and cooking was her favorite pastimes. Margaret is survived by her daughter, Sherry Day; 3 grandchildren, Shelby Woodruff, Nicole Jones (Darrell) and James Michael Kirksey; 5 great grandchildren, Jaxon Woodruff, Chance Purvis, Isabella Jones, Ellie Jones and Lily Jones; brothers, Dale Peters and Stanley Peters (Lola); sister, Mary Ann Hamm; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her son, Dusty Neal Day; grandchildren, Austin Wilson and Kinsley Wilson; father, Clarence Peters; mother, Louise Peters; brothers, Ronnie Joe Peters and Wayne Peters and her sisters, Virginia Peters and Bonnie Peters.
