Lyndell Hopkins

A Celebration of Life Service for Lyndell Harvey Hopkins, 78 of Corinth, MS, was held Thursday, January 19, 2023 at 11:00 A M at Magnolia Funeral Home – East Chapel with interment to follow in Bellevernon Cemetery in Friendship, TN.  Visitation was Thursday, January 19, 2023 from 9:30 A M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home – East.  Mr. Hopkins passed away Monday January 16, 2023 at Magnolia Regional Health Center.  He was born February 28, 1944 in Dyer County, TN to Ernest Drewery Hopkins and Voda Forest Medlin Hopkins.  He was of the Christian faith and enjoyed collecting small model Volkswagens.  He loved woodworking, fishing, landscaping and working in his yard.  Mr. Hopkins is survived by his wife of 59 years, Dorothy Hopkins; his daughter, Vonda Fellows; 2 grandchildren, Marina Grage (Thaddeus) and Tristan Wampler (Ashley); 10 great grandchildren, Daxson Grage, Rylance Grage, Dorothy Wampler, Oakley Wampler, Austin Wampler, Jonah Wampler, Eden Wampler, Gracelynn Floyd, Dallas Wampler and Coltin Teeters; his brother, Glynn Hopkins of Colorado; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.  He was preceded in death by his son, Ronald Hopkins; his father, Ernest Hopkins; his mother Voda Hopkins and his brothers, Talmadge Hopkins, Elton Hopkins and Thomas Hopkins; sister, Vonia Hopkins and son-in-law, Scott Fellows.  Honorary pallbearers were Johnnie Lambert, Neal Mars, Kyle Hall, Jan Dorn and D.J. Whitehead.  Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Lyndell Harvey Hopkins.
