Funeral services for Lucy Paulette Scruggs, 61 of Corinth are set for Sunday, January 22, 2017 at 2:30pm at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with burial in Wheeler Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, January 22, 2017 from 1:00pm - 2:30pm at Magnolia Funeral Home. Mrs. Scruggs passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at St. Clare Health and Rehab in Memphis, TN. She was an attendant at East Side Laundry and a member of Wheeler Grove Baptist Church. She is survived by her brothers: Harry Lee Allen and wife Ellen of Booneville, MS; Kenneth Allen of Iuka, MS; sisters: Joann Williams and husband Robert of Rienzi, MS; Faye Briminghan and husband Eulice of Corinth, MS; Connie Allen of Corinth, MS; Tammy Dolan and husband Thurman of Russellville, AL; sister-in-law, Mary Russell; 24 nieces and nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her husband : Paul Scruggs; father: Lawrence Allen; mother: Maudie Cook Henderson; brother: Lloyd Allen; sister: Cathy Taylor; nephew: Johnny Williams and brother-in-law: Roger Russell. Bro. Shane Evetts and Dr. Kara Blackard will officiate the service. Magnolia Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Lucy Paulette Scruggs.
