Loyce Faye Waldon, 63, of Walnut, MS, passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville, MS. She was born in Ripley, MS on January 4, 1954 to the late Edward Jobe and Maxine White Jobe. Faye was a technician at ITT with 21 years of service. She was of the Methodist faith and a member of Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother who loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed cooking. She will be forever remembered in the hearts of her family and friends. Visitation is scheduled from 5-9 PM Friday April 28, 2017 at Magnolia Funeral Home and from 10 AM till service time, Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church. A celebration of Faye's life will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church, officiated by Bro. W.C. Alexander and Bro. Cody Hill. Interment will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Pallbearers include Jerry Talley, James Talley, Dusty Waldon, Cody Tyson, Joe Caldwell, Robert Garrett, Charles Russell, and Larry Joe Thompson. Honorary pallbearers include Chris Bryant, Greg Bryant, Bradley Pannell, Jim Cutberth, Taylor Cross Caldwell, Junior White, and Danny Lowery. Magnolia Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Those left to honor Faye's memory include her husband of 45 years: Jimmy Tate Waldon of Walnut, MS; her son: Justin Waldon of Walnut, MS; her daughters: Dora Suzanne Waldon and Emily Waldon both of Walnut, MS; five grandchildren: Chance King, Cachetyn King, Carter Lee Wilbanks, Brentlee Tate Waldon, and Garrett William Waldon; her mother: Maxine White Jobe of Ripley, MS; her brother: Anthony Jobe and wife Pam of Ripley, MS; her sisters: Jean Hutcheson of Memphis, TN, Berneda Bryant and husband Kenneth of Walls, MS, and Judy Pannell of Ripley, MS; a special daughter: Amy Caldwell-Moss of Walnut, MS; her brother-in-law: Ricky Tyson of Corinth, MS; her sisters-in-law: Markitia "Kitchie" Cutberth and husband Norris and Lesa Brock and husband Rickey all of Walnut, MS; her parents-in-law: Louis and Betty Glover of Walnut, MS; her special friends: Lena Crum and Shirley Rinehart; other relatives and a host of friends.
