Funeral services for Lonnie Dean Mitchell, 62 of Corinth are set for Monday, April 17, 2017 at 11:00 am at Pleasant Hill United Pentecostal Church with burial in Forrest Memorial Park. Visitation will be Sunday, April 16, 2017 from 5:00pm-8:00pm and Monday, April 17, 2017 from 10:00am until service time at the church. Lonnie passed away on Friday, April 14, 2017 at Baptist Hospital in Oxford surrounded by his family. He was an ordained minister with the United Pentecostal Church International. Mr. Mitchell is of the Pentecostal faith and a member of Pleasant Hill United Pentecostal Church. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Sarah Lowry Mitchell of Corinth; two daughters, Betsy Gee and husband Cliff of Crossett, ARK and Ginger Tarpley and husband Justin of Oxford, MS; five grandchildren, Jackson Gee, Sarah Beth Gee, Elisabeth Tarpley, Joselyn Tarpley and Ellen Catherine Tarpley; brothers, James Mitchell and wife Carol of Corinth, David Mitchell and wife Sandy of IL., and his twin Ronnie Mitchell and wife Barbara of IL.; sisters, Beulah Mitchell of Corinth and Melba Hight and husband Jerry of Michie, TN; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Ogle Mitchell; mother, Ethel Null Mitchell; brothers, Olen Ray Mitchell, Ogle D. Mitchell, Jr. and William Mitchell and sisters, Martha Holloway and Dorothy Faye Mitchell. Cliff Gee, Justin Tarpley, Rev. Dewayne Kirk and Rev. David Boyd will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Cliff Gee, Justin Tarpley, Johnny Boyd, Richard White, Clarence Cain, Thomas Boyd and Steven Goldman. Magnolia Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Lonnie Dean Mitchell.
