A graveside service for Lonie Marie Parker, 81 of Burnsville, MS, will be Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Dogwood Cemetery. Bro. Audie Huggins and Bro Russell Clouse will officiate the service. Visitation will be Friday, November 6, 2020 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Magnolia Funeral Home – East. Mrs. Parker passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was born September 18, 1939 in Burnsville, MS to Troy Wilkins and Wreatha Gray Wilkins. She was the seventh of nine children, having four brothers and four sisters. In 1959 she married the love of her life, Raffuel Parker and in 1961 they welcomed a daughter, Rhonda. Lonie loved her family dearly and was always willing to teach them anything they asked, a real go-getter. She also had a love for her flowers. Her yard was surrounded with beautiful blooms all year long and she loved to stroll about and discuss them. She also was a very kind-hearted woman who took pride in taking care of her husband and loved the Lord. She was a factory worker and of the Baptist faith. Lonie is survived by her husband of 61 years, Raffuel Parker of Burnsville, MS; her daughter, Rhonda Cox (Lane) of Burnsville, MS; 2 grandchildren, Terona Deitsch of Huntsville, AL and Chad Lambert (Whitney) of Iuka, MS; 5 great-grandchildren, Tila Deitsch, Jill Deitsch, Brantley Porterfield, Camden Lambert and Eli Lambert; her brother Lonzo Wilkins (Lavern) of Burnsville, MS; her sister, Lorene Fowler of Corinth, MS; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Troy Wilkins; her mother, Wreatha Gray Wilkins; her brothers, L.C. Wilkins, Lawrence Wilkins and Lester Wilkins and her sisters, Lola Puckett and Lois Morton. Pallbearers will be James Isbell, Joe Morton, William Whitaker, Paul Hall, Roger Parker and Brian Parker. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mrs. Lonie Marie Parker.
