Lola Mae Whitaker, 78, of Corinth, Mississippi, died Tuesday, June 23, 2015, at her residence. She was born on September 20, 1936. She was a caregiver and a member of Biggersville Pentecostal Church. Visitation is scheduled for 5 until 8 PM on Friday, June 26, 2015 and from 10 AM until service time on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Magnolia Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 AM on Saturday, June 27, 2015, at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, officiated by Bro. Merle Dixon. Interment will follow in Wheeler Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers include Lee Barnes, Brad Carroll, Trevor Glidewell, Nathan Drewery, Heath Calvery, Brandon Warner, Roy Carroll and Willie Warner. Magnolia Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Survivors include her sons: Don Glidwell and wife Sarah of Madison, MS and Tommy Crenshaw of Corinth, MS; her daughters: Sandra James and husband Dennis of Kossuth, MS, Diane Skinner and husband Mike of Olive Branch, MS, Sarah Carroll and husband Roy of Ripley, MS, Kathy Warner and husband Willie of Corinth, MS and Lisa Odom and husband Wayne of Corinth, MS; 11 grandchildren: Becky Sanders and husband Brian, Sandie Null and husband Wayne, April Drewery and husband Nathan, Brad Carroll and wife Lauren, Demitria Shawl, Lee Barnes, Jessica Calvery and husband Heath, Brandon Warner and wife Katy, Danielle Crenshaw, Trevor Glidewell and Maddie Glidewell; 18 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband: Jimmy Whitaker; her sons: Henry Lee Crenshaw, Billy Crenshaw and Elsie Lee Crenshaw; her parents: Jackson B. and Minnie Mae Cook Dees; a great grandchild; a brother: Gene Dees, a sister: Edna Watkins and a step son: James Glidwell.
