Lois Evelyn Kennedy Muse, of Conway, Arkansas (formerly of Melrose Park, IL), entered this world May 6, 1925, in Iuka, Mississippi, to Marshall and Evie Mae Scruggs Kennedy. She crossed the bridge to eternal life Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at Conway Regional Hospital in Conway, Arkansas. Mother, Momo, grandma, sister, and aunt, she did many things well but at the top of the list was her ability to make everyone who crossed her path feel special. As the spiritual matriarch of the family she established a spiritual legacy lasting generations, and she has many jewels in her crown. She was a faithful attender of The Rock Solid Church in Conway, AR. She joined her husband, Lester Lawrence Muse, daughter Margie Rhea Meister and brothers, Clayton Kennedy, Henry Kennedy, and David Leo Kennedy in Heaven. She leaves many mourning her passing but rejoicing in her home going. Sister, Elsie Justice Shaw of Iuka, Mississippi, a brother, Leon Kennedy (Jane) of Grenada, MS, two daughters Judy Peppers of Conway, AR, Donna McCorkle (Al) of Conway, AR,. Grandchildren; Lisa Kibbe (Billy) of Lago Vista, TX, William Peppers (Renita) of Lexington, TN, Trina Bright of Maumelle, AR, Lena Hancock (Kelvin) of Conway, AR, Tina MacNamara (Patrick) of Conway, AR, Gena Bennett (Brandy) of Kailua, HI, and Amy Schweitzer (Mike) Chesterfield, VA. Great Grandchildren; Brianna Belote, Bethany Brown (Shane), Kyle Peppers, Danielle Hancock, Dillon Hancock, Madeline MacNamara, Alexis Urdy, Sequoia Black, Creed MacNamara, Brayden Bennett, Andrew Schweitzer, and Alyson Schweitzer. She was excited about the expected arrival of her fifth generation great-great granddaughter Lily Mae Evelyn Brown. Arrangements have been made through Magnolia Funeral Home in Corinth, MS. Visitation will be Friday, March 28, 2014 at 8:30am followed by the funeral at 10:00. The burial will be at Corinth National Cemetery at 11:00. In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to the Missions fund at the Rock Solid Church in Conway, AR.
