Linda Carol Cox, 70, of Corinth, MS, passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2017, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis, TN. A Celebration of Life Service will be on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at 10:30 A.M. at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with burial to follow at Corinth National Cemetery. Bro. Ralph Culp will officiate the service. Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 9, 2017, at Magnolia Funeral Home from 5-8 PM.
She was born on March 29, 1947. She retired after 25 years as a bank teller, with Security Bank and Regions Bank. She was of the Baptist Faith and a member of East Corinth Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Mr. William "Bill" E. Cox of Corinth; Mother, Betty Laughlin of Corinth; two daughters; Tamara Cox Germany (James) of Collierville, TN and Allison Cox Wilson (Timothy) of Ozark, MO; two grandchildren; William Case Germany and Carolynne Marie Wilson; one step-granddaughter, Malea Dawn Wilson, and numerous cousins, other relatives and a host of friends. Pallbearers will be Randy Germany, Will Germany, Timothy Wilson, David Langford, Norman Borden, John Bullard, and Aaron Farris. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made East Corinth Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her Father, Herbert Laughlin and her brother, Larry Wayne Laughlin.
