A private family graveside celebration will be held for Linda Apple, 77 of Corinth on Thursday, May 14, 2020. Per family request all CDC and government guidelines will be strictly followed. Linda was born on February 5, 1943 in Iuka, MS and had her going away celebration at her home on Sunday, May 10, 2020. She was a retired seamstress who loved her family and friends and enjoyed going to church, sewing, cooking and fishing. Linda was an avid reader and of the Christian faith. She is survived by her daughters, Rhonda Lamb and husband John of Corinth, Dena Arnold of Corinth, Mechelle Hamm and husband Johnny of Walnut, Brenda Briggs and husband Danny of Corinth and Kerri Smith and husband Randy of Corinth; grandchildren, Andrea Crouch and husband Kevin, Beverly Dixon, Tiffany Ellis and husband Chris, Amanda Lee and husband Aaron, Ash Smith, Pamela Sawyer and husband Michael, Beth Rice, Leigh Fair and husband John, Kayla Culver and husband Tony and Josh Smith and wife Kaylyn; 12 great grandchildren; brother, Gary Wilson of Iuka; sister, Brenda Edge and husband Scotty of Iuka; her lifelong friend, Brenda Young of Corinth; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Linda is preceded in death by her grandson, Charles Pace, father, Samuel "Bud" Wilson; mother, Doris Scruggs Wilson and brothers, Eugene Wilson and Dale Wilson. Rev. Cody Lamberth will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Randy Smith, Eric Algee, Kevin Crouch, Ash Smith, Tony Culver and Josh Smith. Honorary pallbearer will be Robert England.
