Funeral services for Lillie Mae Voyles McEwen are set for Monday, January 2, 2017 at 11:00am at West Corinth Pentecostal Tabernacle Church with burial at Hopewell Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 1, 2017 from 5:00pm - 8:00pm and Monday, January 2, 2017 from 10:00 am until service time at West Corinth Pentecostal Tabernacle Church. Mrs .McEwen was born December 15, 1935 in Tishomingo County, MS; She was a homemaker whom also worked at Weaver Pants Factory and at Wurlitzer for a period of time. She was a member of West Corinth Pentecostal Tabernacle Church . She loved her family and friends and enjoyed camping with them all and traveling with her family . She was an excellent seamstress. Mrs. McEwen was survived by her husband of 60 years: Guy F. McEwen – Corinth; son: Michael Dwayne McEwen – Corinth; daughters: Paula Layne McEwen Nooner and husband Paul – Corinth, Pamela Jane McEwen Wren – Corinth, Janet Renee' McEwen Dixon and Rev. Tim- Corinth; grandchildren: Jonathan Rider and wife Ashley, Adam Wren, Aaron Wren, Nathaniel Nooner and fiancée Brittany, Jessica Nooner, Kevin Vanslyke; great grandchild: John Kendrick Grisham; brothers: Bobby Voyles and wife Vera- Belmont, Wayne Voyles and Robert Voyles both of Burnsville; sister: Dorthy Mae Voyles Osborne and husband Charles , Jr. – Tuscumbia, AL; sisters-in-law: Martha McEwen and Mildred McEwen both of Glen; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her father: Tolbert E. Voyles; mother: Mae Bell Cannon Voyles; brother: Floyd Voyles and wife Merril; sister-in-law: Sylvia Voyles and brothers-in-law: Billy McEwen and wife Laverne , Joe McEwen and Buster McEwen. Pallbearers will be Jonathan Rider, Adam Wren, Aaron Wren, Nathaniel Nooner, Kevin Vanslyke, Darrell McNair. Rev. Tim Dixon and Rev. Merl Dixon will officiate the service. Magnolia Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Lillie Mae Voyles McEwen.
