Laverne H. Follin

A Celebration of Life service for Laverne H. Follin, 88 of Corinth, MS, will be Friday, September 3, 2021 at 2:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home – East Chapel with interment to follow at Brush Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Jimmy Wilbanks and Charlie Browning will officiate the service. Visitation will be Thursday, September 2, 2021 from 5:00 P M to 8:00 P M and Friday, September 3, 2021 from 12:00 P M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home – East. Mrs. Follin passed away Monday, August 30, 2021 at her residence. She was born July 24, 1933 in Georgia to Wiley Allen Hall and Zada M. Hall. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Brush Creek Baptist Church. She gave her heart to Jesus as a young girl. She loved her family with everything she had. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, spending time with family and caring for others. Laverne is survived by her son, Randy Follin (Candy); her daughters, Donna Smith (Monte) and Myra Wilbanks (Harold); 8 grandchildren, Greg Wilbanks, Missy Shultz (Jonathan), Brandi Greene (Jimmy), Monica Claunch (Patrick), Melanie Brooks (Clint), Dalana Smith, Chelsea Smith and Jeremy Wilbanks; 13 great grandchildren; Blake Butler, Hunter Switcher, Cullen Essary, Addie Switcher, Cadee Essary, Ryan Jones, Darbie Brooks, Jenna Jones, Emma Brooks, Alexys Brooks, Charlotte Claunch, Rhett Johnson and Lilly Kate Smith; 1 great great-grandson on the way; other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne H. Follin; her daughter-in-law, Robin Follin; her parents, Wiley A. and Zada M. Hall; her brothers, Matthew “Mack” Hall, Author Hall and Harris Hall; her sisters, Anna Hall and Nellie Davidson and her grandson-in-law, Josh Smith. Pallbearers will be, Blake Butler, Hunter Switcher, Cullen Essary, Patrick Claunch, Jonathan Shultz, Jeremy Wilbanks, Jimmy Greene and Greg Wilbanks. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mrs. Laverne H. Follin.
