A Celebration of Life Service for Lavender L. Bishop, 76 of Fulton, MS, will be held Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 11:00 A M at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with interment to follow at Lone Oak Baptist Church Cemetery. Charlie Browning and Bro. Gene Coltharp will officiate the service. Visitation will be Friday, January, 19, 2018 from 5:00 P M to 8:00 P M and Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 10:00 A M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home. Mrs. Bishop was born June 19, 1941 in Alcorn County to James T. Stutts and Hazel Horton Stutts. She was a homemaker and of the Christian faith. Lavender is survived by her husband of 55 years, Hubert E. Bishop of Fulton, MS; her daughters, Hazel E. Henry and husband Bill of Fulton, MS and Stephanie J. Lemmons and husband James "Bud" of Fulton, MS; her five grandchildren; her 3 step-grandchildren; her ten step great-grandchildren; her step great great-grandchild; her step-sons, Gary Bishop and wife Wanda of Tupelo, MS and Ricky Bishop and wife Melinda of Richmond, MS; her brothers, Bud Stutts and wife Delaine of Corinth, MS and Wayne Stutts and wife Judy of Piney Grove; her sister, Sahara Wilson of Mooreville, MS; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Lilly M. Henry; her father, James T. Stutts; her mother, Hazel Horton Stutts; her brother, William (Bill) Stutts and her sister, Maxine Killough. Pallbearers will be Jonathon Justice, Patrick Henry, Jamie Bishop, Rodney Bishop, Billy Henry, Dusty Duffie and Billy Ridgeway.
