Larry Eugene Wigginton

Larry Eugene Wigginton, 79 of Corinth, MS, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at his residence in Corinth, MS. The family will have a private graveside service. Rev. Ronnie Phillips of Cookeville, TN will officiate the service. Mr. Wigginton was born November 12, 1941 in Corinth, MS to Travis Eugene Wigginton and Faye Byrd Wigginton. He was a member of the Army National Guard for 6 years. He retired from Lake Hill Motors and was the previous owner of Five Points Grocery and Marine. Larry is survived by his wife of 59 years, Joyce Phillips Wigginton of Corinth, MS; two sons, Kirk Eugene Wigginton and his wife Lisa and Shane Wigginton and his wife Tammy both of Corinth, MS; one daughter, Teena Hatfield and her husband Barry of Corinth, MS; seven grandchildren, Kristy Schmitt (Eric) of Kansas City, KS, Jennifer Wigginton of Corinth, MS, Thomas Eugene Wigginton (Brooke McKee) of Corinth, MS, Michael Wigginton (Denise) of Corinth, MS, Matthew Hatfield (Morgan) of Columbus, MS, Erica Degraw (Dane) of Nashville, TN and Chloe Hatfield of Corinth, MS; six great-grandchildren, Abbigail McCahill, Brylee Barbour and Aiden Schmitt all of Kansas City, KS, Jax Eugene Wigginton of Corinth, MS, Brynlee Wigginton of Corinth, MS and Craig Hatfield of Columbus, MS; his sisters, Barbara Ruth of Chattanooga, TN and Brenda Kutcher of Corinth, MS; one brother, Roger Wigginton of Corinth, MS; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Travis Eugene Wigginton; his mother, Faye Byrd Wigginton and his brother-in-law, Lorry Ruth. Pallbearers will be Thomas Wigginton, Michael Wigginton, Matthew Hatfield, Dane Degraw, Zac Byrd and Dewayne McLemore.
