A Celebration of Life service for Larry Wayne Landrum, Sr., 89 of Corinth, MS is set for Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at 11:30am at Tate Baptist Church with interment in Corinth National Cemetery with Military honors. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 30, 2018 from 6:00pm-9:00pm and Wednesday, October 31, 2018 from 10:30am until 11:30am at Tate Baptist Church. Born October 22, 1929 in Florence, Al., Mr. Landrum passed away Saturday, October 27, 2018 at the MS State Veterans Home in Oxford, MS. He was a retired electrician for TVA, of the Baptist faith and a member of Tate Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Marine veteran. Larry loved his family and friends and enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing domino's. He is survived by his son: Larry W. Landrum, Jr and wife Sherry Ann of Cullman, Al; daughters: Ramona Lucretia Landrum Howell and husband Marshall of Corinth and Paula Dianne Landrum of Corinth: grandchildren: Jon Howell and wife Vanessa, Hollie Pennington, Haylee Morris and Chase Landrum; great grandchildren: Kayla Howell, Kodee Howell, Callie Howell, Samuel Grant Pennington, Shepard Pennington, Jada Morris and Auria Southern; brothers: Donald Landrum and wife Nell of Iuka and Charles Ray Landrum of Florence, AL; sisters: Martha Holt of Germantown, TN; Barbara Johnson of Memphis, TN and Wanda Burks of TN; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Larry is preceded in death by his wife of 52 years: Ramona Jobe Landrum; father: Alvin H. Landrum; mother: Arie Mae James Landrum and his brothers: Leon Landrum and H. W. Landrum.
