Lanny Ross Hatman, 79, of Corinth, MS passed away at his home on Monday, May 10, 2021. He was born in Saddle, AR on September 1, 1941 to the late Whitey Hatman and Flavia Hall Hatman Anthony. Lanny was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and retired as a general contractor with GTE. He will forever be remembered in the hearts of those he loved. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Magnolia Funeral Home - South is entrusted with the arrangements. Those left to honor Lanny’s memory include his wife of 57 years, Cynthia Ann Raney Hatman; his children, Cindi Smith (Scott) of Lake Arrowhead, CA, Margaret Hatman of Corinth, Dawn Gray of Wasilla, AK, Veronica Bounds (Mark) of Calloway, FL, Daniel Hatman (Kelli) of St. Augustine, FL, Joseph Hatman (Wendi) of Casa Grande, AZ, James Hatman of Orlando, FL, and Kenith Hatman (Lisa) of Morongo Valley, CA; 22 grandchildren, Shannon Howard, Alyssa Dafnis, Joshua Smith, Alan Voyer, Jacob Boyer, Miranda Hatman, Megan Gray, Raymond Gray, Jr., Tyler Bounds, Ashley Walderon, Ross Bounds, Nathaniel Hatman, Jeremiah Hatman, Benjamin Hatman, Zannion Schmidt, Erin Hatman, Tori Hatman, Alexis Hatman, Tommy Hatman, Cara Hatman, Kristopher Hatman, and Kenzy Hatman; 20 great-grandchildren; his brother, Gary Hatman of MI; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
