Kitty Baswell

Funeral services for Kitty Michelle Baswell, 53 of Booneville, MS are set for Monday, February 24, 2025 at 2 pm at Magnolia Funeral Home- East with interment in Pleasant Hill Independent Church Cemetery in Booneville. Visitation will be Monday, February 24, 2025 from 11 am till service time. Bro. Scotty Huggins will officiate the service. Pallbearers include Edward Roach, Carson Chaney, Hannah Chaney, Carlos Standfield, Tracy Standfield, and Michael Hutchison. Honorary pallbearers include Michael Gurley. Kitty was born on October 27, 1971 in Marks, MS to the late W.T. and Birtie Mae Dunaway Gooch and passed away on February 21, 2025. She was a member of Living Water Holiness Church in Rienzi, MS and enjoyed fishing with her family and painting arts and crafts. Her greatest love was reading her Bible, going to church and singing for the Lord. Kitty will be forever remembered in the hearts of her family and friends. She leaves behind her loving husband, Jesse Mitchele Baswell; her daughters, Jessie Maelee Baswell and Amber Michelle Baswell (fiancé Jose); her sisters, Pamela Gooch (fiancé Jay Waldo, Mary Pelts (Paul), Becky Hutchison (Michael), Stacie Standfield (Tracy); her brothers, John Gooch (Stephanie) and Ashley Gooch; other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, her infant baby Baswell; her sister, Connie Mae Gooch; and her brothers, Nickey Dale Gooch and Randy Tommy Gooch.
