Kenny Lewis Roberts

A Celebration of Life service for Kenneth "Kenny" Lewis Roberts, 74 of Savannah, TN, will be Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 11:00 A M at First Baptist Church Counce with interment to follow at Wesley's Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery with Masonic Rites. Bro. Jimmie McChristial and Bro. Tony Polk will officiate the service. Visitation will be Friday, July 26, 2019 from 5:30 P M to 9:00 P M and Saturday, July 27, 2019 from 10:00 A M until service time at First Baptist Church Counce. Mr. Roberts passed away Monday, July 22, 2019 at Savannah Health Care in Savannah, TN. He was born August 26, 1944 in Milan, TN to Lewis E. Roberts and Lola Austin Roberts. He was a welding instructor and was a member of First Baptist Church Counce. He was owner of R & R Porcelain Company and was a District 7 Volunteer Fireman and First Responder. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member and past Master of Savannah Lodge #102. Kenny was also a Shiloh Baptist Disaster Relief Team Worker, member of Local Union #477 Iron Workers, and a Pickwick Shriner. He was a commercial fisherman and was a mussel fisherman. Kenny is survived by his wife of 55 years, Betty Hardin Roberts of Savannah, TN; his son, Christopher Hardin Roberts of Savannah, TN; his daughters, Becka Austin (Kevin) of Savannah, TN and Phan Lam Nguyen (Tan) on Marrero, LA; his 7 grandchildren, Paul Nguyen, Liz Nguyen, David Nguyen, Timothy Nguyen, Molly Austin, Nate Austin and Patrick Austin; his sister, Kaye Hanson of Florence, SC; other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Lewis E. Roberts; his mother, Lola Austin Roberts and his brother-in-law, Gary Hanson. Pallbearers will be Keith Umphrey, Dennis Wood, Jimmy Welch, Donny Howard, Derek Howard and Justin Wood. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Kenny Lewis Roberts.
