Funeral services with military honors for Kenneth “Ken” M. Gomber , 75 of Iuka are set for Thursday, November 4, 2021 at 11:30am at Magnolia Funeral Home - EAST with interment to follow in Corinth National Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, November 4, 2021 from 10:30am until 11:30 am at Magnolia Funeral Home- EAST. Bro. Jimmy Daniel will officiate the service. Born January 17, 1946 in Iron Mountain, MI., Ken passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at North MS Medical Center in Tupelo. Ken was a retired manager for S. E. Johnson’s Wax Company and a Staff SGT with the U. S. Air Force where he was an air traffic controller. He loved his family and friends especially his grandchildren and enjoyed golfing, fishing and listening to The Eagles music. Ken is survived by his wife of 37 years, Renee Alderson Gomber; son, Brett Gomber; daughter, Dani Cain (David); step daughter, Tiffany Mullins Guarascio (R. J.); 7 grandchildren, Cassie Smith, Tyler Remus (Carly), Taylon Remus, Teagon Remus, Curtis Cain, Nathan Cain and Tia Guarascio; 5 great grandchildren, Conner Smith, Jaxon Linesdall, Athena Guarascio, Apollo Guarascio and Atlas Guarascio; brother, Ray Thibault (Yalanda); other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his step daughter, Tanya Mullins; father, Marvin Gomber; mother, Margaret Rasmussen Thibault (Ray , Sr.) and his sister, Beverly Hazelburg. Pallbearers will be David Cain, Curtis Cain, Nathan Cain, Wesley Watson, Chris Burkeen and Joey Briggs. Honorary Pallbearers are Mike Darracott , Larry Darracott and David Meeks. Magnolia Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. Kenneth “Ken” M. Gomber.
