Kaylee Diane Stroup

Kaylee Diane Stroup, 13 of Corinth, MS, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at her residence. A private graveside service will be Sunday, July 26, 2020. Bro. Chuck Hassell will officiate the service with Connor Stroup delivering the eulogy. Visitation will be Saturday, July 25, 2020 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Magnolia Funeral Home. Per family request, masks and social distancing are required. All state guidelines will be followed. MS Stroup was born February 14, 2007 in Tupelo, MS to Walter Lee "Rivers" Stroup and Katrina Massengill Stroup. She was of the Christian faith and was a member of Waldron Street Christian Church. She attended Thrasher School where she was a member of the 8th-grade class. Kaylee loved shopping, her American Girl dolls, stuffed animals and her dogs, Coco and Lilly. She enjoyed going to the beach, Disney World and was a member of Jig Dance and Voice Group. Kaylee is survived by her mother, Katrina Stroup of Corinth, MS; her brothers, Connor Stroup of Corinth, MS and Preston Stroup of Corinth, MS; her paternal grandparents, Cecil and Linda Stroup of Walnut, MS; her maternal grandparents, Rudy and Kathy Massengill of Corinth, MS; her aunts and uncles, Michael and Holly Stroup of Jackson, TN and Summer Stroup of Corinth, MS; her cousins, Jackson and Knox Stroup of Jackson, TN; other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Lee "Rivers" Stroup. Pallbearers will be Preston Stroup, Connor Stroup, Michael Stroup, Scott Lassiter, Jimmy Rogers and Rudy Massengill. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105-3678.
