Kay Jernigan, 77, of Corinth, MS passed away on Monday, November 13, 2017 at her residence. She was born in McNairy County, TN on October 31, 1940 to the late E.T. and Elma Burns Gladish and was a member of Landmark United Pentecostal Church in Stantonville, TN. Visitation is scheduled for 5 - 9 pm, Wednesday, November 15, 2017 and from 11 am until service time Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Landmark United Pentecostal Church. A celebration of Sis. Jernigan's life will be held at 1 pm Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Landmark United Pentecostal Church officiated by Rev. Tony Polk and Rev. Darrell Moffett. Interment will follow in Sulphur Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers include Brian Carroll, Josh WInchell, Dusty Winchell, Lex Jones, Buddy Winchell and Bobby Neal Gladish. Magnolia Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Those left to honor Sis. Jernigan's memory include her husband of 59 years: William "Buck" Jernigan of Corinth, MS; her son: Jackie Jernigan of Corinth, MS; her daughters: Reba WInchell and husband Bill of Southaven, MS and Becky Peters and husband Britt of Corinth, MS; her grandchildren: Patricia Race and husband Robert, Brian Carroll and wife Brittany, Josh WInchell, Dusty WInchell and wife Kandas, Anna Jones and husband Lex, Buddy Winchell and Kaylinn WInchell; her great-grandchildren: Austin Race, Madi Race, Noah Race, Wyatt Carroll, Caleb Jones, Jared Winchell, Braidon WInchell, Brody WInchell, Preston Winchell, Madelyn WInchell, Addy Winchell, Lily Kay Winchell; her brothers: Robert Gladish and wife Elaine of Bethel Springs, TN, Norman Gladish and wife Sue of Munford, TN, and Charles Gladish of Finger, TN; other relatives and a host of friends.
