Funeral services for Kathryn "Kat" Timbes, 67, of Burnsville are set for Sunday, February 4, 2024 at 2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home - EAST with interment in New Lebanon Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, February 3, 2024 from 5pm - 8pm and Sunday, February 4, 2024 from 1pm-2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home - EAST. Bro. Dean Timbes and Bro. Chris Herrington will officiate the service with Bro. Bobby Johnson delivering the eulogy. Pallbearers will be Jerad Sims, Jamie Roach, Luke Minor, Josh Osborn, Derek Timbes and Robert Brewer. Honorary pallbearers will be Parker Clark, Austin Sims, Grady Clark and Rhett Clark. Born January 19, 1957 in Booneville, MS., Kat passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024 at her daughter's home in Booneville. She was a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Burnsville. Kat was a retired medical office manager, who enjoyed mowing her lawn, and doing girls night out for family birthdays. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy and she cherished the time she got to spend with them and the rest of her family. She was very independent and did things her way. Those left behind to cherish Kat's memory include her mother, Shirley Timbes; son, Brad Clark (Rebekah); daughters, April Sims (Kenny) and Brandy Minor (Stephen); 8 grandchildren, Trey Sims (Julia), Sydney Sims, Luke Minor, Parker Clark, Austin Sims, Grady Clark, Emma Minor and Rhett Clark; brother, Mike Timbes (Jamie); sister, Pam Essary (Kenneth); special friend, Hannah Bonds; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Morris Timbes; paternal grandparents, Willie and Mamie Timbes; maternal grandparents, Homer and Zellar Johnson; and a nephew, Patrick Timbes. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mrs. Kathryn "Kat" Timbes.
