June Travis Monroe

Graveside service for June Travis Monroe, 79 of Corinth, MS, will be Saturday, June 6, 2020 at 11:00 A M at Magnolia Gardens. Dr. Joseph Leonard Pratt will officiate the service. Mrs. Monroe passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at Magnolia Regional Heath Center. She was born November 27, 1940 in Corinth, MS to Emmett Anderson Moore and Myrtle Ruth Millsap Moore. She was a homemaker and was of the Church of Christ faith. June is survived by her husband of 60 years, Gerald Monroe of Corinth, MS; her son, Grant Monroe of Ridgeland, MS; her sister, Diane Cooper of Biggersville, MS; other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Emmett Anderson Moore and her mother, Myrtle Ruth Millsap Moore. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mrs. June Travis Monroe.
