Julia "Judy" Knight

Julia “Judy” Knight, a loving mother, terrific friend, witty conversationalist, and Christ follower went home to be with Our Lord and Savior on May 15, 2022.  She was born on July 8, 1942 to J.B. and Gladys Potts.  She was a voracious reader and enjoyed coffee, crafting, scrapbooking, traveling, and sharing her faith. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 20, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Magnolia Funeral Home – 45 SOUTH with services  to follow on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Magnolia Gardens.  Survivors include Willard Knight, her loving husband of 61 years, her daughter, Lee Ann (Brent) Burton of Mt Juliet, TN, her son, Joe Knight of Chattanooga, TN and sister, Faye (Ed) Barron of Guys, TN.  She is also survived by her uncle, James Earl (Bobbie) Potts, several nieces and nephews, honorary daughter Patrice Williams, and honorary son Rick Houston.   In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please consider making a donation to Samaritan’s Purse.
