Joyce Luther

Joyce Luther, 68, of Corinth, MS, passed away on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was born in Prentiss County, MS on May 27, 1950 to the late W.R. “Pete” and Marie Sweeney and graduated from Jumpertown High School in 1968. Joyce was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She will forever be remembered in the hearts of her family and friends. Visitation is scheduled for 11 AM till service time, Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Magnolia Funeral Home. A celebration of Joyce’s life will be held at 12 pm, Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories officiated by Bro. Joe Marsh. Interment will follow in Valley of the Dogwood Cemetery. Family will serve as pallbearers. Magnolia Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Those left to honor Joyce’s memory include her husband of 37 years: Richard Luther of Corinth, MS; her sons: Jerry Whirley (Pam) of Corinth and Matt Luther (Skye) of Corinth; her grandchildren: Kristen, Jordan, Haley, Jacob, and Tate; her brothers: Bob Sweeney (Carolyn) of Corinth and John D. Sweeney (Debbie) of Henderson, TN; her sister: Darlene Ingram (Bruce) of Corinth; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: W.
