Joyce Bright Hearn, 80, of Collierville, TN formerly of Corinth, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2016 at Baptist Hospital in Memphis, TN. Joyce was born March 22, 1936 to the late Bill Allen and Birdie Bright in Alcorn County, MS. She was a self-employed child care provider for 30 years and also worked with the Salvation Army. She loved taking care of children and doing church work. She served as Sunday School Secretary for South Corinth Baptist Church where she was a member for many years. A celebration of Joyce’s life is set for 3:00pm Monday, October 24, 2016 at County Line Baptist Church. Bro. Charles Stephenson will officiate the service. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 4:00 to 8:00pm Sunday, October 23 at County Line Baptist Church, and 1:00pm until service time Monday, October 24, 2016 at the church. Pallbearers include Kevin Glisson, Ronnie Gant, Tommy Winters, Anthony Hamm and Don Seward. Those left to honor Joyce’s memory include her son, Larry “Roscoe” Hearn and wife Carolyn of Walnut; daughter, Dana Pett of Collierville, TN; five Grandchildren, Kristin Pett, Jimmy Gray, Shellie Bradley, Shannon Gates (Rodney), Nathan Flynn (Angie); four great-grandchildren, Kayla Gray, Autumn Gray, Ian Gates, Radence Flynn; four great-great-grandchildren, Cadence Crawford, Jackson Crawford, Breezie Harvey, and Hayden Harvey; other relatives and a host of friends. Those who preceded her in death are her husband of 29 Years, Max S. Hearn; father, William Allen “Bill Allen” Bright; mother, Birdie Butler Bright; brother, Junior Bright (Pat) and one great grandchild.
