Joyce Irene Baggett Cummings, 80, of Corinth, MS passed away Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo, MS. A celebration of Life is set for Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at 11:00 A M at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with interment at Pisgah Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday, December 13, 2016 from 5:00 P M to 8:00 P M and Wednesday, December 14, 2016 from 10:00 A M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home. Rev. Nathan Dixon will officiate the service. Born March 25, 1936, she was a homemaker. Survivors include her sons, Kenneth Lee Cummings (Brenda) of Michie, TN and James Ray Cummings (Brenda Jo) of Michie, TN; her two grandchildren, Jennifer Lancaster (Michael) and Brittany Smith (Pete); her four great-grandchildren, Hunter Lancaster, Michayla Lancaster, Lexi Smith and Bently Smith; her brother, Junior Baggett (Marge) of Como, TN; her sisters, Janie Morgan (William) of Corinth, MS and Darlene Stewart (Rick) of Corinth, MS; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, James L. “Charlie” Cummings; her father, Daniel Baggett; her mother, Minnie Alice Wiggins Baggett and her brothers, James Baggett and Gene Baggett. Pallbearers will be Dan Baggett, Greg Cummings, Scottie Cummings, Kerry Cummings, David Morgan and J.D. Moore. Honorary Pallbearers will be Hunter Lancaster and Byron Bonds.
