Joyce Anne Wood

A Celebration of Life service for Joyce Anne Wood, 83 of Iuka are set for Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 11am at Magnolia Funeral Home - EAST. Visitation will be Saturday, January 4, 2025 from 10am -11am at Magnolia Funeral Home - EAST. Bro. Bill Duncan will officiate the service. Born September 18, 1941 in Morrilton, ARK., Mrs. Wood passed from this life on December 30, 2024 at Tishomingo Community Living Center in Iuka, MS. Joyce was a retired medical administrator and of the Christian faith. She loved her family and spending time with them especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed watching the Walton's, Little House on the Prairie, going to Vegas and Tony's Restaurant. Joyce is survived by her daughters, Lori Wood (Allen Johnson) and Brenda Zinzer (John); 4 grandchildren, Miranda Otsuka, Oliver Santana, Shelby Jackson and Cory Bennett; 2 great grandchildren, C. J. Bennett and Cora Bennett; sister-in-law: Patricia Newberry; many loved nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Preston Newberry, mother Cora Dameron; brothers, Gerald Newberry and Preston Newberry and her sisters, Kathryn Bell and Minnie Hubbard. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mrs. Joyce Anne Wood.
