A memorial service for Joseph Levi Rowsey, 72 of Savannah, TN is set for Thursday, June 3, 2021 at 11am at Magnolia Funeral Home in Corinth, MS. Visitation will be Thursday, June 3, 2021 from 10am-11am at Magnolia Funeral Home. Bro. Donald Sculley will officiate. Born October 15, 1948 in Rienzi, MS, Joseph passed away on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was a farmer and of the Southern Baptist faith. Joseph is survived by his children, Michele Chamberlain of Springfield, TN, Jennifer Woodard (Darrell) of Paducah , KY, McKinley Rowsey of Savannah, TN, and Jamie Rowsey of Corinth; adopted children, Samantha Lavy (Kevin) of Waynesboro, TN and James Rowsey of Michie, TN; 6 grandchildren, Cecilia Chamberlain, Sarah Chamberlain, Katelyn Woodard, Sidney Woodard, McKinley Rowsey and Evelyna Rowsey; brothers, Lonnie Rowsey (Yvonne) and Philip Rowsey (Jane) all of Rienzi; other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Mavine Rowsey, his father, Millard Filmore Rowsey and his mother, Ruthie Mae Rowsey.
