Joseph Blackburn

A Celebration of Life Service for Joseph Blackburn, 23 of Burnsville, MS, will be Monday, November 21, 2022 at 2:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home – South Chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens.  Bro. David Shierbaum will officiate the service.  Visitation will be Monday, November 21, 2022 from 12:00 P M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home – South.  Mr. Blackburn passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.  He was born August 29, 1999 in Corinth, MS.  He was of the Christian faith and graduated from Tishomingo High School in 2017.  He was an avid gamer, with his favorite game being Magic Cards.  He loved spending time with his family and friends.  Joseph is survived by his mother, Audrey Meeks; his father, Edward Meeks; his brothers, Noah Blackburn and Michael Meeks; his sister, Jennifer Meeks; his paternal grandparents, Gerry and Brenda Meeks; his maternal grandfather, Andy Gerregano; his maternal great grandmother, Jackie Gray; other relatives and a host of friends.  He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Wendy Gerregano and his maternal grandfather, Billy Joe Blackburn, Jr.; his maternal great grandfather, Junior Gray and his maternal great grandparents, Billy Joe and Janie Blackburn.  Pallbearers will be Brad Colton, Dustin Marsh, Robert Davis, Robby Davis, Jeremiah McDuffy and Jake McDuffy.  Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Joseph Blackburn.
