Jorja Erin Johnson Butler

Jorja Erin Johnson Butler, 32, of Corinth, MS, passed from this life into eternity on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at her residence. She was born in Corinth, MS on February 24, 1985 to Willie Lee Johnson and Tracy McEwen Johnson and graduated from Alcorn Central High School in 2003. She had a long, lingering illness that she battled to the very end. Jorja will be forever remembered in the hearts of her family and friends. Visitation is scheduled for 5:30 - 9 pm, Saturday, January 13, 2018 and from 12 Noon until service time Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Magnolia Funeral Home. A celebration of Jorja's life will be held at 2 pm Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories officiated by Marilyn Stafford and Rachel Cuevas. A eulogy will be offered by Scotty Young. Pallbearers include Richie Butler, Jay Coln, Brent Huggins; Anthony Fuggitt, Grant Headrick, Scotty Young, Benjamin Marshall, Stewart McEwen. Jerrod Johnson will serve as honorary pallbearer. Interment will follow in Dogwood Cemetery. Magnolia Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Those left to honor Jorja's memory include her husband: Rodney Butler; her three children: Chloe, Adrianna, and Rhett Butler; her mother: Tracy Johnson; her stepfather: Jimmy Bain; her brother: Jerrod Johnson; her sisters: Jayme Johnson, Daphne Bain, and Dena Bain; her maternal grandmother: Martha McEwen; her nephew: Jay Coln and his father, Terry Coln; her father and mother-in-law: Duane and Sharon Butler; her brother-in-law: Richie and Kim Butler and their girls, Addison and Ashlyn; her aunt: Dean McEwen; her uncles: Brodie and Dimple McEwen and Jerald and Brenda Johnson; numerous cousins, other relatives and wonderful friends. She was preceded in death by her father: Willie Lee Johnson; her grandfather: T.R. (Buster) McEwen; her aunt: Wanda and Harris Strickland; her uncle: Michael and Nella Lambert; her uncle: Jerry McEwen; her grandmother: Amy Davis; her uncle: Elvin Jr. Johnson; and her aunt: Marie (Sissy) Spoon.
