John Ellis Woodard

John Ellis Woodard, 79, of Burnsville, MS, passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Tishomingo Community Living Center. He was born in Marietta, MS on October 7, 1938 to the late Ellis and Ganell Ozbirn Wooard. John was a member of Biggersville Pentecostal Church and was a truck driver for many years. He will be forever remembered in the hearts of his family and friends. Visitation is scheduled for 5 - 9 pm, Friday, October 27, 2017 and from 10 am until service time Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Biggersville Pentecostal Church. A home going celebration of John's life will be held at 11 am Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Biggersville Pentecostal Church officiated by Bro. Paul Ray Hall and Bro. Mike Lee. Interment will follow in Antioch Free Will Baptist Church. Pallbearers include Bobby Bonds, Billy Martin, Matthew Reiner, Jerry Perrigo, Doyle Holland, and Terry Caver. Magnolia Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Those left to honor John's memory include his wife: Donna Woodard of Burnsville, MS; his daughter: Lisa McKinney and husband Paul Ray of Cairo, MS; his grandchildren: Justin McKinney and wife Jennifer, Courtney McKinney, and Landon Beau McKinney: his great-grandchild: Savannah Grace McKinney; his sister: Leista Horn of Booneville, MS; a niece, a nephew, other relatives and many friends.
