John Stevens

Funeral services for Johnny "John" Monroe Stevens, 73, of Corinth are set for Sunday, February 2, 2025 at 2:30pm at Strickland Church of Christ Church with interment in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, February 2, 2025 from 12pm-2:30pm at Strickland Church of Christ. Minister Terry Smith and Minister Brad Dillingham will officiate the service. Billy Rainey and Glenn Fowler will deliver the eulogies. Pallbearers will be Todd Murphy, Joel Moore, Elliott Dobbs, Rick Smith, Tim Wright and Stacy Newton.  Mr. Stevens was born May 3, 1951 in Corinth, MS., he passed from this life on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. He worked for Barber Milk Company and retired from ACE Power Assocation with 25 years of service. He was a life long member of Strickland Church of Christ Church. John loved his family, church and friends. He had a servant's heart and was faithful to the Lord's church. He will be dearly missed by all those whose path he crossed. John is survived by his brother, Bobby Stevens (Marie); sisters, Betty Smith (Bennie), Linda Garrett (Joe) and Nancy Moore (Harold); brother-in-law, Adolph Taylor;  several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles "Red" Stevens; mother, Annie L. Burks Stevens; lifelong girlfriend of 45 years, Judy A. Johnson; sisters, Peggy Taylor, Martha Wright (Ellis), Joan Newton (Floyd), Betty Jones (Bill) and Cathy Stevens.
