Funeral services for John Wallace Lowry, 89 of Corinth is set for 10:30am Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at St. James Catholic Church. Visitation will be held Monday, February 26, 2018 from 6pm-8pm at St. James Catholic Church and Tuesday, February 27, 2018 from 9:30am until Mass time. Born June 6, 1928 in New Orleans, LA , John was a retired accountant and of the Catholic faith. John was a U. S. Navy veteran of WWII. John is survived by his wife, Helen Lowry of Corinth; step sons, Thomas Palmeri, Joseph Palmeri and Robert Palmeri all of New York City; step daughter, Patricia Palmeri of New York City; 6 step grandchildren; brothers, Bobby Lowry of Covington, LA and H. A. Lowry and wife Jesse of Jackson, MS; other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his brother, Hiram Lowry and wife Echols and his sisters, Edna Lowry, Particia Lowry and Sylvia Cupples and husband George. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Knights of Columbus. Father Mario Solórzano will officiate the service. Magnolia Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. John Wallace Lowry.
