Funeral services for Joey Lynn Scott, 54 of Corinth are set for Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 2:00pm at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with burial in Dogwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 28, 2018 from 5:00pm-8:00pm and Thursday, November 29, 2018 from 1:00pm until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home. Born July 27, 1964 in Wisconsin, Joey passed from this life on November 24, 2018 in Corinth, MS. He is of the Baptist faith and was a retired self employed mechanic. Joey is survived by his daughters, Brittany Scott (Daniel) of Selmer, TN, Traci Scott (Randy) of Guys, TN; son, Timothy Scott of Corinth; 7 grandchildren, Olivia Gilmore, Damian Gilmore, Kyler Scott, Mylie Scott, Ryleigh Monroe, Jacob Monroe and Bailey Monroe; brothers, Terry Scott (Jean) of Michie, TN, Tommy Scott of Corinth and William Scott of Corinth; sister, Brenda Maxey and Pastor Bobby of Lexington, TN; nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his father, William George Scott, Sr. and mother, Brenda Dale Wilkins Scott. Pallbearers will be Austin Holloway, Jeremy Dunn, Levi Scott, Austin Scott and Nathaniel Burcham. Pastor Bobby Maxey will officiate the service.
