Joanne Louise Poquette began her journey in life on November 21, 1940. Joanne grew up in Chicago and was one of seven siblings. In the early 70s, Joanne enjoyed stage and set design and costume making. Later in life, she enjoyed quilting and was a talented seamstress. She left this life on Thursday, November 9th, 2023 in Corinth, MS.
Joanne leaves behind her children; Margaret Ann Bradley, Barbara Lynn White and her husband, Mike Marak, Mark Alan Poquette; her sisters, Babette Marie Rowe, Rosanne Marie Neapolitan (Tom), Kathleen Marie Galateo, and one brother, Robert Frank Jordan; her grandchildren, Amber Brooke Poquette, Alicia Kara Poquette, Elijah White, Neal Bradley (Carly), Darcie McCoy (Blain); 4 great grandchildren, and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Mark Poquette; her father, Herman Jordan; her mother, Ursula Galateo; her sisters, Dorothy Young and Leta Stender. Joanne will be buried in The Corinth National Cemetary with her late husband and a celebration of life will be held in Chicago.
