Betty Joan Wilbanks, 80, of Corinth, MS, passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2020 at her home. She was born in Iuka, MS to the late Preston and Dorothy Beard Nunley on December 27, 1939. Joan was a retired Molding machine operator for ITT with 26 years of service and she was the secretary for Ed Wilbanks Electrical, Plumbing and Septic service for 45 years and she was a member at Shady Grove Baptist Church. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at Dogwood Cemetery at 2:00 PM with interment to follow in Dogwood Cemetery. Visitation is set for Wednesday, September 2, 2020 from 12:00 PM until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home East. Bro. Joe Marsh will officiate the service. Joan is survived by her son: Jeremy Wilbanks; her daughter: Melissa Savage; her grandchildren: Summer Holcomb and husband Sonny, Gage Wilbanks, Gabby Cox and husband Hunter, Bentley Wilbanks, and Ryder Wilbanks; her great-grandchildren: Kash Holcomb and Henley Grace Cox; her sister: Sharon Switcher; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband: Ed Wilbanks; son: Gary David Wilbanks; daughter: Glenda Wilbanks; parents: Preston and Dorothy Beard Nunley and sister: Libby Latiolais. Pallbearers will be Sonny Holcomb, Jeremy Wilbanks, Gage Wilbanks, Bentley Wilbanks, Ryder Wilbanks and Hunter Cox. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Betty Joan Wilbanks.
