Jo Ann Marlar

A celebration of life for Jo Ann Marlar, 86, of Corinth, MS, is set for Tuesday November 20, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with interment to follow in Farmington Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday November 20, 2018 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Magnolia Funeral Home. Jo Ann was born March 3, 1932 to Samuel H. and Charlotte Verlon Lowrey Rogers. She was a homemaker and of the Christian faith. She was a member of The First Assembly of God Church in Corinth. Mrs. Jo Ann Marlar is survived by her sons: Sammy Marlar and wife Suzette of Corinth and Robb Marlar and wife Buffi of Corinth; 6 grandchildren: Nathan Marlar and wife Cheyanne, Matthew Marlar and wife Stacey, Mary Beth Marlar, Laura Kate Marlar McNair and husband Jim, Shannon Nichole Marlar Hinds and husband Cody, Tiffany Marlar Kimbrow and husband Byron and 5 great grandchildren; other relative and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Billy Marlar; father, Samuel H. Rogers; Mother, Charlotte Verlon Lowery Rogers; brothers: Frank Rogers, Jack Rogers and Billy Rogers. Charlie Browning, Mary Beth Marlar and Sammy Marlar will be officiating the service for Jo Ann Marlar. Pallbearers include: Cody Hinds, Jim McNair, Matthew Marlar, Seth Marlar, Deric Smith and Cody Anderson. Magnolia Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Jo Ann Marlar.
