A Celebration of Life service for Jimmy Donald Monroe, 81 of Corinth, MS will be Friday, July 16, 2021 at 2:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home – South with Military Honors. Interment will follow at Old Danville Cemetery. Dr. Ronald Mitchell will officiate the service. Visitation will be Friday, July 16, 2021 from 11:00 A M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home – South. Mr. Monroe passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at his residence. He retired as a correction officer with MS State Department of Correction after 30 years of service. He served his country in the U S Navy and the MS National Guard. He was an active member of South Corinth Baptist Church.
