Funeral services for Jimmy Darnell Knight, 58 of Corinth are set for Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 10:00am at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with burial to follow in City of Crump Cemetery in Crump, TN. Visitation will be Friday, September 15, 2017 from 5:00pm-9:00pm and Saturday, September 16, 2017 from 9:00am until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home. Mr. Knight was born September 23, 1958 in Corinth , MS and passed away on September 13, 2017 at his home after an extended illness. He was employed as a carpenter by Randy Calvery Cabinets in Booneville, MS . He was of the Baptist faith and a hard core Ole Miss fan. Jimmy is survived by his wife of 26 years, Machelle Knight of Corinth; son, Joey Knight of Oregon; daughters, Shonda Lomenick of Corinth and Tonya Lomenick of Adamsville, TN; 3 grandchildren, Tyler Rickman, Jordan Turner and Aiden Turner; 2 great grandchildren, Devin Chaos and Konnyr Joe; brother, Danny Knight of Miami, FL; niece, Rachel Knight of Corinth ; lifetime friend, Dennis Burcham of Corinth; other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Billy Knight; mother, Patsy Jane Darnell Knight; brothers, Tony Knight and Ricky Knight ; sister, Joellen Farr; maternal grandparents , John Burgess and Melissa McKewen Darnell and paternal grandparents, Richard Slater and Lucille Taylor Knight. Bro.Richard Wells will officiate the service. Pallbearers are Tyler Rickman, Everette McClure, Manny Machado, Keano Stacy, Clayton Chambers and Mark Stricklin.
