A funeral service for Jimmy M. Berry, 62, of Corinth, MS is scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, May 13, 2022, at Magnolia Funeral Home - East. Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 2 PM Friday, May 13, 2022, at Magnolia Funeral Home – East. Lifelong friend, Bro. Mickey Trammel will officiate the service. Born May 28, 1959, in Gary, IN to James Earl Berry and Barbara King Herman, Jimmy passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at Baptist Memorial in New Albany, MS. He was a 1977 graduate of Biggersville High School. Jim was a hard working man and proud to be the owner and operator of JimCo roofing since 1977. Those who knew Jimmy knew of his love for life, making people laugh, and spending time with those he loved.  He never met a stranger and could make anyone feel comfortable around him.  Jimmy loved camping, cooking, spending time with his animals, and creating unique artwork with repurposed materials. Most of all, he loved being a Papaw. He truly was a unique individual and will be forever remembered by his family and friends. Jimmy is survived by his daughters, Jamie Briggs (Benjamin), and Amanda Berry; his grandchildren, Brayden, Adley, Parker, Christopher, Gabriel, and Emily; his adored mother, Barbara Herman; his sister, Julie Berry; his life companion and best friend, Theresa; his cat “Gray”, and a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, James Earl Berry. Magnolia Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Jimmy M. Berry.
