Jessie Lee Brooks

Jessie Lee Brooks, 74, of New Site, MS, passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Yalobusha, MS on April 21, 1943 to Jeff and Ottie Talley Brooks and was a mechanic. Jessie will be forever remembered in the hearts of his family and friends. Visitation is scheduled for 5 - 8 pm, Sunday, January 7, 2018 and from 12 Noon until service time Monday, January 8, 2018 at Magnolia Funeral Home. A celebration of Jessie's life will be held at 2 pm Monday, January 8, 2018 at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories officiated by Bro. James Voyles. Interment will follow in Sardis Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Rienzi, MS. Magnolia Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Those left to honor Jessie's memory include his son: Gary L. Brooks and wife Cristina of New Site, MS; his daughter: Patricia Posey and husband Marlin Edward of Booneville, MS; his grandchildren: Whitney Brooks, Ashleigh Brooks, Jeffery Brooks, Harley Brooks; his brothers: Bud Brooks and wife Betty of Rienzi, MS, Phillip Brooks of Corinth, MS; his sisters: Peggy Wooten of Corinth, MS, Bobbie Heibert of Florida, Adrion Carter of Corinth, MS, Dorothy Brooks of Corinth, MS, Betty Howard of Michie, TN, Cora Latch and husband Donnie of Corinth, MS, Brenda Ross of Corinth, MS, Connie Baswell and husband Donnie of Glen, MS; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
