Funeral services with Military Honors for Jerry Walker, 83, of Corinth are set for Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at 2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home - EAST with interment in Henry Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, November 14, 2022 from 5pm-8pm and Tuesday, November 15, 2022 from 1pm-2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home - EAST. Bro. Mickey Trammel will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Louis Lettieri, Drew Mitchell, Jake Mitchell, Kenny Franks, Jonathan Pannell and Nick Briggs. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Briggs, Gary Briggs, Maury Briggs and Rick Briggs. Born October 4, 1939 in Detroit, Michigan, Jerry passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Cornerstone Health and Rehab in Corinth, MS.  He was a long haul truck driver for 61 years and loved it. Jerry was of the Baptist faith and attended Tate Baptist Church. He enjoyed watching westerns and old army movies and he loved collecting knives and guns.  Jerry is survived by his daughter, Joy Bell and husband Larry; son, Greg Walker and wife Terri; 5 grandchildren, Nick Briggs and wife Jen, Alyssa Walker, Haley Oussoren and husband Kade, Jordan Walker and Kaylee Bennett;  8 great grandchildren; the mother of his children, Carolyn Walker; brother, Bobby Walker; sister, Shirley Walker; brother-in-law, Brce Crosby; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his sons, Brent Walker and Douglas Walker; father, Luther Swain; mother, Evie Burgess Swain; and sisters, Brenda Spencer and Patricia Henry.
