Funeral services for Jerry Marlar, 66 of Corinth, MS, are set for Sunday March 18, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories in Corinth. Visitation will be Saturday March 17, 2018 from 5:00 – 9:00 pm and Sunday March 18, 2018 from 12 noon till service time at Magnolia Funeral Home. Jerry was born July 14, 1951 in Booneville, MS and passed away on Thursday March 15, 2018 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was a truck driver who enjoyed working, being outside and driving his backhoe and dozer. He loved spending time with his family and playing with his grandchildren. He attended Brigman Hill Baptist Church. Jerry was survived by his wife of 46 years, Becky Marlar of Corinth, MS; sons Chris Marlar (Tabitha) of Corinth, MS and Josh Marlar (Bridget) of Corinth, MS; brothers Leroy Marlar (Ouida) of Corinth, MS, Jesse Marlar (Debra) of Corinth, MS and Danny Lee Marlar (Shelia) of Iuka, MS; grandchildren Levi Marlar, Landon Marlar and Paisleigh Marlar; and mother-in-law Velma Kiddy Parker of Corinth, MS. He was preceded in death by his father Elmer Marlar; mother Jewel Cornelison Marlar; daughter-in-law Bridget Marlar and father-in-law Ed Parker. Bro. Alan Parker and Bro. Bob Harris will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Austin Fowler, Shane Kennedy, Michael Marlar, Johnny Scott, Elijah Parker and Eric Parker.
