Jeremy "Poncho" Smith

Jeremy Clayton "Poncho" Smith, 26, of Rienzi, MS, passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at Rienzi, MS. He was born in Corinth, MS on July 14, 1990 and was employed with Refreshments, Inc. for over two years. Jeremy loved the outdoors where he enjoyed fishing, hunting and riding four wheelers and especially loved buying, selling and trading. It was his passion. Jeremy enjoyed spending time with those he loved and will be forever remembered in the hearts of his family and friends. Visitation is scheduled for 5-9 pm, Friday, March 17, 2017 and from 10 am until service time, Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Magnolia Funeral Home. A celebration of Jeremy's life will be held at 11 am Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories officiated by Bro. Danny Huggins and Justin Taylor. Pallbearers include Mark Kellum II, Jon Kellum, Shawn Smith, Jody Stevenson, Shawn Humbers, Justin Wilburn, Tyler Franks, and Bobby Huggins. Honorary pallbearers include Eric Hastings, Roger Horn, Brandon Hilburn, Daniel Huggins, Shane Holland, and Justin Taylor. Interment will follow in Kemp's Chapel Cemetery. Magnolia Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Those left to honor Jeremy's memory include his wife: Tabitha Smith of Rienzi, MS; his parents: Loretta and Mark Kellum of Rienzi, MS; his daughter: Alissa Hall (Tyler); his sons: Whitten Hall (Kaitlyn) and Clay Smith; his brothers: Mark Kellum II (Katie) of Tupelo, MS, Jon Kellum (C.J.) of Michie, TN, and Shawn Smith (Teri) of Lawrenceburg, TN; his paternal grandmother: Ruth Kellum of Booneville, MS; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
