Jeffrey Wayne Wilemon, 48, of Burnsville, MS passed away on Monday, August 29, 2016 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born in Iuka, MS on May 12, 1968 to Jerry and Carolyn Wilemon. Jeff graduated from University of Alabama - Tuscaloosa Police Academy. He was an electrician and the owner of Action Bonding Company. Jeff loved fishing, hunting, the internet and Facebook. He was an expert on General George Custer and was a big John Wayne fan. Jeff was a Master Mason who held dual lodge memberships in the Iuka and Burnsville Blue Lodge. Visitation is scheduled for 5-9 PM Wednesday, August 31, 2016 and 11 am until service time Thursday, September 1, 2016 at Magnolia Funeral Home. A celebration of Jeff's life will be held at 2 PM Thursday, September 1, 2016 at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories officiated by Pastor Chuck Lansdell. Interment will follow in Liberty Hill Cemetery with Masonic Rites. Pallbearers include Brian Glover, Bryan Goss, John Moore, Nicky McRae, Donald Martin, Keith Stevens, Charles Gist, and Neal Wilmeth. Magnolia Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Those left to honor Jeff's memory include his son: Jerrod Wilemon of Corinth; his parents: Jerry and Carolyn Wilemon of Burnsville; his uncle: Steve Grimes (Shirley) of Iuka; several cousins, other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Orville and Gaye Grimes; his paternal grandparents: Sid and Minnie Wilemon; and an uncle: Phillip Grimes.
