Jeanette DeLoach McGuyer

Jeanette DeLoach McGuyer passed away Monday, December 5, 2016 in Council Bluffs, IA due to complications of surgery. She was ushered into heaven by her husband, Smokey, and daughter, Terrie, as they sang and spoke words of love as she went to her new Home. She was born March 3, 1940 and enjoyed being a homemaker to her beloved family. Jeanette was like the woman with the alabaster box in Luke, Chapter 7 who sat at Jesus’ feet and washed them with her tears. Just like this woman, Jeanette's great love for Him came from the understanding of just how much He loved and forgave her. This love of God empowered her walk in this world and compelled her to tell others how they could experience this love for themselves.    Jeanette is survived by her husband of 57 years, Smokey McGuyer; her children, Terrie McGuyer, Beth McGuyer and Mike McGuyer; 10 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; other family members and a host of friends.   A Memorial Service is set for 11:00am, Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Magnolia Funeral Home where family and friends will celebrate her life and the impact she had on others.  Online Condolences can be left at magnoliafuneralhome.net.
