Jason Dewayne Brooks

A Celebration of Life service for Jason Dewayne Brooks, 47 of Corinth, MS will be Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 11:00 A M at New Covenant Christian Assembly in Falkner, MS with interment to follow in the church cemetery.  Bro. Titus Mathis and Bro. Billy Brooks will officiate the service.  Visitation will be Friday, April 1, 2022 from 5:00 P M to 8:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home – East and Saturday, April 2, 2022 from 10:00 A M until service time at New Covenant Christian Assembly.  Mr. Brooks passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at his residence.  He was born September 17, 1974 in Red Bay, AL to Hershell Vinson Brooks and Dorothy Gail Walker Brooks.  He was a mechanic and of the Church of God faith.  He loved fishing, playing guitar, listening to music and working on cars.  Jason is survived by his son, Robert Brooks and wife Lyn; his mother, Dorothy Latch and husband Mike; his sisters, Teresa Rorie and husband Tim and Leighanne Burkeens and husband James; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.   He was preceded in death by father Hershell Brooks.  Pallbearers will be Shane Rickman, Anthony Burkeens, David Walker, Neal Walker, Nigel Johnson and Billy Brooks.  Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Jason Dewayne Brooks.
