A private family funeral service for Jane Evetts, 79, of Corinth is set for Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Magnolia Funeral Home – East with interment in Dogwood Cemetery. Bro. James Voyles will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Jackie Farr, Lloyd Farr, Clay Evetts and Brian Smith. Born July 9, 1942 in Corinth, MS., Mrs. Evetts passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021 at her home. She was a retired factory worker for United Pioneer and a member of Rock Hill First Pentecostal Church. Jane is survived by her sons, Tony Evetts (Cindy) and Sammy Evetts(Loretta); 2 grandchildren, Katie Goforth and Clay Evetts (Amanda); 3 great grandchildren, Sammy Kate Goforth, Andrew Evetts and Parker Evetts; brother, John Smith (Flora Jean), sisters, Sandra Pittman and Patsy Farr (Lloyd); other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Evetts; granddaughter, Samantha Evetts; father, Taylor Smith; mother, Marie Clark Smith; brother, Joe Smith and sister, Polly Bain.
