Jane Climer

Jane Climer, 72, of Corinth, MS passed away on Monday, January 28, 2019 at Mississippi Care Center - Corinth. She was born in Alcorn County, MS on July 10, 1946 to the late John and Bernice Byrd. She worked at several area businesses including ITT, Corinth Manufacturing and Falcon Plastics. Jane will forever be remembered in the hearts of her family and friends. Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 pm Thursday, January 31, 2019 and from 1 pm till service time Friday, February 1, 2019 at Magnolia Funeral Home. A celebration of Jane’s life will be held at 2 pm Friday, February 1, 2019 at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories officiated by Bro. Warren Jones. Pallbearers include Allen Byrd, Chad Sebring, Terry Hammersmith, Shelby Sargent, Tanner Byrd, and Micheal Risner. Interment will follow in Wheeler Grove Cemetery. Magnolia Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Those left to honor Jane’s memory include her four stepchildren; her sisters: Ellen Faye Bain of Corinth, Bertha “Tots” Davis (Gene) of Chicago, IL, Emma Hammersmith (Terry) of New Lenox, IL, Mary Moore (Mike) of Blue Springs, MO; her sisters-in-law: Glenda Byrd of Ramer, TN and Mary Frances Isbell of Corinth; her brother-in-law: Bobby Phillips of Corinth; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband: Thomas Ray Climer; her children: Joseph Phillips, Robert Phillips, and Joey Phillips; her parents: John and Bernice Byrd; her brothers: Opal Isbell, Floyd Byrd, William Byrd, and Tommy Byrd; and by her sister: Hazel Phillips.
